Tea and Bingo are two things that so many people love. Many people get interested very young by watching their Mums and Dads, and sometimes playing at home. Well students at Kings Langley School in Hertfordshire changed that recently. Read on to find out more!
Some of the students at Kings Langley School organised and ran a tea party for the elderly residents of Hertfordshire. They absolutely loved it. There was tea and cakes, and even better – there was bingo! The elderly residents were thrilled. There were tins of biscuits given to the bingo winners and many joined in. It was a great day, and no doubt the Kings Langley school will do it again. It’s so nice to see smiles on elderly residents’ faces because often they don’t have all that much to make them smile. When they play bingo though they really light up! And to be playing at a tea party too – wow – tea, biscuits, cakes and bingo – what more could they ask for!
The story of Tea and Bingo at King Langleys in Hertfordshire reached the local news. This is no surprise really as it was such a kind gesture and it was all run so well. The families of the elderly residents were really happy that they could play bingo too.
