Binfield is a very friendly and happy place, and this is the case partly because of the people who live there. It’s a place that has a very close-knit community feel to it. Recently the annual Binfield Parish People’s Awards took place with some highly regarded people winning awards. Read on to find out all about the local awards for dedicated Bingo Callers – it’s always nice to hear of people involved in bingo doing well with things like this, and winning an award is just brilliant!
You have to have been working hard in the Binfield Parish to receive an award, and that’s just what Alex and Julie Lloyd have been doing. Not only are they bingo callers but they also visit the sick and needy in the area. They are therefore very deserving of their Binfield Parish People’s Award, and they were extremely pleased to receive it.
People who play bingo will tell you what a social game it is, and the bingo callers get really involved. They have to be a certain type of person; that is they have to be happy and jolly, and really enjoy the game of bingo. It’s no good calling the numbers out as if you don’t really care what’s going on! Bingo Callers have to sound positive and happy about it, which isn’t always easy if you’ve had a bad day! Alex and Julie Lloyd totally deserved their Binfield Parish People’s Award though because they are happy and smiling all the time!
